Campaign Feasibility Studies
Praxis believes the most effective fundraising campaigns are preceded by in-depth feasibility studies. Our studies appraise institutional readiness, invite input from key stakeholders, test support for the plans under consideration, and assist in setting appropriate fundraising goals. The studies are orchestrated through the development of a case statement, personal interviews, written and online surveys, prospect research, and trend analysis.
Annual Fund Support
Successful fundraising can mean the difference between a viable program and an unfulfilled mission. Nonprofit leaders understand the pressing need to raise more money, yet sometimes lack clarity on how to initiate new fundraising strategies or simply are uncertain of the effectiveness of their current fundraising approaches.
Praxis offers clients a range of support and consulting to grow a sustainable approach to annual funding. Our detailed analysis and recommendations prepare organizations to align staff appropriately, use resources more effectively, raise more money, and improve constituents’ appreciation of their mission. We work with staff and volunteers to create strategic fundraising plans matched to the unique character of the organization. More comprehensive support may include goal setting and implementation plans for individual giving, major gifts, and foundation and corporate philanthropy. Praxis also offers ongoing coaching and implementation support for organizational leaders and development staff.
Capital Campaign Management
Capital campaigns enable organizations to make long-term investments in organizational capacity and can be profoundly rewarding undertakings for staff, donors, and clients if done effectively. Praxis-supported campaigns include management and oversight of the campaign process, volunteer organization and training, development of marketing and communications materials, multiple and varied opportunities to cultivate potential donors, donor recognition strategies, and long-term follow-up.
Strategic and Fundraising Planning
Long-before realizing goals, delivering high-quality services, or exceeding fundraising expectations, successful organizations invest in their own planning and development. This may mean orchestrating a long-term strategic plan, establishing annual organizational priorities and a guiding implementation plan, or creating annual fundraising plan.
Praxis consultants use a common-sense approach to strategic and fundraising planning, working with clients to answer five basic questions:
From where have we come?
Where are we currently?
Where do we want to go?
How do we get there?
How will we know we have arrived?

“Before we even began active fundraising, Praxis took the time to truly understand who we are as an organization. This understanding has helped our Praxis consultant better support our fundraising needs and, more importantly, ensure that the fundraising strategies we implement advance our core mission.”
